When is a snorkeling trip not a snorkeling trip?

点评：When our family was in Puerto Vallarta for the recent Christmas holiday, one of the main activities our group wanted to do was a day of snorkeling. There are many outfitters we could have chosen from, and we ended up picking Nakawe Adventures based on their website representations, which states very clearly that snorkel equipment would be provided (it also states that there'd be a cooler of ice on board but that wasn't true either). We didn't find out that our boat only had some sad-looking masks, and didn't have any fins and only 3 snorkels for our group of ten until we were at the Los Arcos snorkeling site. Needless to say, there was no snorkeling, just individuals flailing around in the surge with ill-fitting masks. We sent a note to Nakawe and, while they acknowledged receipt of our message, we have yet to hear from them regarding any kind of refund. Full disclosure - only reason I'm giving a Poor instead of Terrible designation is because the guide on the boat was very nice and wanted to be helpful, but difficult to snorkel without fins and a snorkel. If planning a PV snorkel trip, you might want to look elsewhere.
