点评：Ahoy landcrabs!
In 2024 we had to cancel our activity with pirate life at Mooneys Bay due to weather limitations. We received a literal and figurative “rain check” for a later day.
This theatre production was VERY HONeST and ACCOMODATINg, which is a rare sight.
We tried but couldn’t match a date in 2024, and we aimed for early june2025, but there was a temporary issue with boat access on lake. Fast forward to july2025, boat back on track and we’re casted off!
We parked at mooneys bay near beach, 7-10 min walk past playground etc. giant orca is a masterpiece.
We were greeted warmly by crew, everyone already in full character mode and set the pace well. We got our unique pirate names and sessions offered in English ou en francais. Excellent service and we felt welcomed. Staff is patient with kids that may have too much energy but safety was never compromised. Items for purchase (hats, swords patches etc is excellent choice to enhance the fun if one doesn’t bring own gear).
Once of the lake, fun quest for treasure begins with tasks to be completed for map pieces. Interactive, kid friendly activity.
High lights included singing, dancing, duels and firing of the canons. This latter was a great hit with our crew.
Highly recommended activity, especially if coupled with beach and/or playground activity before or after. Expect a full day at Mooney’s bay for best experience.
Nb: washrooms are best used at beach side as portaporties near orca/pirate life but in 35C summer…best to avoid!
Nb2: pirate life sells drinks and iced products.
Nb3: staff deserves a great cheers as they were awesome, prior and during event.

亮点包括唱歌、跳舞、决斗和鸣炮。鸣炮深受我们团队的喜爱。
强烈推荐这项活动，尤其是在活动前后与海滩和/或游乐场活动相结合的情况下。为了获得最佳体验，建议您在穆尼湾待一整天。
注意：洗手间最好放在海滩边，因为那里靠近虎鲸/海盗出没区，但在35摄氏度的夏天……最好避开！
注意2：海盗出没区出售饮料和冰镇产品。
注意3：工作人员值得称赞，因为他们在活动前和活动期间都表现出色。
