Beautiful spot, need to sort out the signage.

点评：Despite the low score review, this forest walk is beautiful with some excellent points of interest including the shipwreck, the stunning mausoleum, the ice house, the castle (meh!) and more.
However the low score is directly due to the absolutely abysmal signage in the place. When you start off, a helpful sign post shows you color coded walks, and anybody who walks regularly in Ireland will know in most nature walks, you choose a path, then follow the signs with the appropriate color arrows to find your way.
So while you enter thinking, I'll follow the white path, when you're in there this becomes comes absolutely meaningless as they don't properly use the color code system and instead start naming paths after trees, birds and such, the colored arrows disappear entirely.
After passing the famine wall, we continued up into the forest where signage based on the colors totally ended and we ended up at a random carpark. We were considering walking on a narrow public road to get back to the castle but ended up bumbling our way back to the river through pine walk one, two and four (??) because Google maps showed how to head towards the river area.
So while we intended to follow the white path for a 3.5km loop walk, we ended up doing a 7km walk and being back on the same path we entered on the way out. Once you go into the trees and slightly hilly area, you will likely get lost.
