IJG Trails的点评
点评：I want to share a recent, distressing experience as a warning to others. While walking at IJG Trails with our two small Yorkies—both on leashes—they were approached and attacked by two large dogs that were off-leash. One of our dogs was bitten and had to be taken to the vet for treatment. The incident also deeply traumatized my children.
What we observed was concerning: nearly all small dogs were leashed, while most large dogs were not. Many owners of large dogs appear overly confident that their pets are harmless, but this isn’t always the case. In our situation, the attacking dogs weren’t even accompanied by their owner—just someone (a relative to the owner) walking them, and without leashes.
I witnessed a similar incident last year and, regrettably, dismissed it as a one-off. Today, our pets were hurt—tomorrow, it could be a child on a bicycle.
Please be vigilant. Take care of your children and your pets. Stay safe.
