A must see place when in Venice. Spectacular.
New Murano Gallery的点评
点评：What a fantastic place to visit. We went on a tour to the island of Murano, with a glass blowing demonstration and a visit to the glass showroom. It was a wow experience. The glass blower is a true artist and the years of experience really show out in the demonstration. The showroom rivals any art gallery and the pieces are spectacular.
The showroom is a wonderful place to view the abilities of the artists who create the pieces.
We purchased a number of pieces and had them posted back to our home in Australia. The gallery held them while we completed our holiday and posted them at a time when we would be home to receive them.
The sales staff were fantastic and really knew their stuff. Friendly, knowledgeable and just nice people. No pressure tactics, allowed us to browse and ask questions when we wanted information about a particular piece.
The package arrived, well wrapped, no damage and more beautiful than in the showroom. It was like Christmas unwrapping the presents. These items are heirloom pieces. This place is authentic and has original artwork. You get a certificate of authenticity with every art piece.
Even the after sales service, once we were home, was exceptional. Just a fantastic experience all round.
This is a must see place when in Venice.
It’s not for everyone and that’s ok. Yes you can get cheaper, Asian made, similar stuff in Venice shops (even with a Murano sticker) which looks good, but it’s not from the Murano factory. You don’t get the certificate from the Venice gift shop!! But it will suit some people.
This was a highlight of our trip to Venice and coupled with the island of Burano, we had a fantastic day out. Do yourself a favour and put a visit to this place on your itinerary.
