Surf but don’t Stay!

点评：The level of cleanliness was below par. I was told upon arrival that the tent was made ready for us and just cleaned. This couldn't be further from the truth, or at least not to any standard that I would expect. The beds had hair on the sheets and stains on the covers. I pointed this out and was given fresh bedding but stupidly I didn’t think to check the kids beds, later to discover these had dried food stains on them. As we started to look more around we came to discover food residue on the floors and surfaces also had not even been wiped and The toilet seemed to have a stream of water running from it. We decided enough was enough and checked out early and booked to stay elsewhere especially with our 1 year old with us, they will pick up anything and put it in their mouths.
I emailed to inform the Wave of our unhappiness and reasons for leaving but never received any response apart from the automatic i hope you enjoyed your stay. I feel that this is terrible customer service. At most I would expect some money back and at least I would expect an apology but to completely ignore in my opinion is unacceptable.
The only positive I can give the Wave is their team on the water were fantastic. My kids loved the play in the bay session and the guy on duty really looked after my daughter when she wanted to have a break. The facilities around the activity were great and the cafe and shop looked great.
I would recommend having a surf experience here but look to stay elsewhere
