点评：You start out as clients and by the end of the week you feel like family. Lori has really selected great excursions. For fantastic food after truffle hunting you get delicious food with the truffles that were just found, at a winery for a private tasting of wine and olive oil you get a delectable charcuterie board and several different bruschettas. Visiting Sepino Archaelogical Park for some history; making fresh pasta and enjoying it after the fact; tasting freshly made cheese; watching a copper smith in action; visiting a bell foundry that makes bells for the Vatican (which is the second oldest family run business in the world); visiting the beautiful beaches and shops of Termoli were just a few other well thought out items on our itinerary. My grandfather was born in Termoli, and Lori has graciously taken on the task of trying to find out where he lived and if there are any other family members living there. She really goes above and beyond. We stayed in San Martino in Pensilis where we were immersed in what it really feels like to live in Italy as a local. Even one of our meals was in San Martino at a farm to table type of restaurant down a dirt road well off the beaten path. Our group consisted of 4 family members so it was very intimate and Lori was very flexible and was able to adjust the itinerary as we requested (for example, to go to the winery early on in the week, so we could buy wine to enjoy for the week!). Once you pay the fee, Lori takes care of everything else, such as hotels and all meals, except one dinner. She even arranged for us to be picked up from Rome for a beautiful 3 hour drive. If you are looking for an excursion of little known places and want to get the true feel of Italian culture, then this trip is for you. I highly recommend. If I could give 10 stars, I would!
