Excellent Golf weekend away with friends

点评：4 of went for golf weekend. We stayed in Boxbrush Lodge which is at the entrance of the course and next to the 1st green.
The lodge was comfortable with all self catering facilities has 2 twin beds 1 bathroom & W.C. (bathroom has underfloor heating) . TV washing machine / dishwasher. Has parking for 3-4 cars.
The staff were great, Linda was very welcoming when we got there, the Pro was very friendly and sorted out the WiFi in the lodge as we weren’t getting signal when we first got there and changed our tee time so we could tee off bit earlier on the Sunday.
The course was in very good condition despite all the rain, greens have undulations and can be slow when putting against the grain….keep that in mind! Also if you’re walking the course allow minimum 4-4.5hrs. The course looks flat, but there is some of the holes have inclines which makes the holes longer than the yardage.
We also ate out at Anatolian Restaurant in Monmouthshire on Saturday. Food was very good
