Great viewpoint, enjoyable hike up

点评：Most people come up to the observation deck in Mt. Nabakenmuri Park on tour buses or by car, but it is possible to hike up quite easily from the upper terminal of the Glover Sky Road, which is what I did.
The hike itself is at first through a residential area (where a mapping package on a cell phone is helpful, although there are some signs to the park); once you reach the forest, the trail is obvious and well-marked. The trail is largely paved, with steps in places, and is in good condition. Probably it's not a good idea to do this on a hot day, even though much of it is through forest, as there is a bit of elevation gain (about 120 m elevation gain in 600 m distance), but on a cool day it is enjoyable.
The views at the top are remarkable, and the viewpoint likely won't be crowded. There are washrooms at the top as well. The viewpoint itself is free (not sure about parking for cars, though). The viewpoint structure is nicely designed to be handicap-accessible, so there is a long gradual oval ramp to get to the top, which was also a nice easy way to get to the top of the viewpoint after the hike to the viewpoint through the forest.
