艺术史博物馆的点评
点评：I see on TA that there are 44,000 reviews of the Vienna's Schoenbrunn Palace, and "only" 10,000 - of the Kunsthistorische (Fine Arts) Museum, so I decided to contribute too. Be advised: most of the negative reviews are NOT about the quality of the collection (it must definitely be among the 10 best in the world) - they are about confusion and problems with entrance tickets, vouchers, online reservations, etc.
I guess it's good to take care of it in advance, though I just showed up, bought the ticket after staying in a short line and went inside (maybe because it was a weekday in March?)
Yes, the price of admission is quite high (was it 24 Euro?), but still lower than the Met Museum in NYC (they raised the prices for tourists). However, I would pay it gladly for seeing only the Breughel the Elder's paintings (largest collection anywhere). Also, this time I went to the Antiques Department. I have visited museums in Athens, Greece, and I can say the Vienna's collection is as extensive as it is impressive - totally worth visiting for lovers of the Ancient World (see the photos)! The collection of gold items from the Dark Ages was also very interesting. So, if you come for the Classical Art period - as most tourists do - just keep in mind that there is much more ))

没错，门票价格确实挺贵的（是24欧元吗？），但仍然比纽约的大都会艺术博物馆要便宜（大都会博物馆提高了对游客的收费）。不过，即便只是为了观赏老勃鲁盖尔的画作——那里拥有全球最大的老勃鲁盖尔作品收藏——我也心甘情愿付这个钱。这次我还去了古董部。我曾去过希腊雅典的多个博物馆。可以说，维也纳的藏品既丰富又令人叹为观止——对古代世界爱好者而言绝对值得一游（看看这些照片吧！）。中世纪时期的金器收藏也同样非常有趣。所以，如果你和大多数游客一样是冲着古典艺术时期而来，请记住：这里还有更多值得探索的内容呢！
