点评：If you’re looking for an adventure that starts with a treasure hunt for two roadside fridges, you’ve found it. Forget GPS – the real directions are: first fridge, keep going; second fridge with ‘320’ spray-painted on it, you’ve arrived. Honestly, that alone set the tone for the day.
Our group of seven was a mixed bag – some seasoned riders, some who thought quad bikes were a brand of coffee. After safety checks and a quick tutorial, we took a practice spin in a paddock, which was just enough to convince us we were ready for the wild.
And wild it was! Two hours of bush tracks, hills that made you question gravity, puddles that could swallow a boot, and the occasional white deer cameo (because why not?). The views of Manukau and Muriwai were stunning – when we weren’t too busy laughing at each other’s mud-splattered faces.
The grand finale? A high-speed dash along Muriwai Beach, complete with a surprising biology lesson about whale sperm (don’t ask, just go). We raced like pros, or at least like people who really didn’t want to come last.
Verdict: 10/10 for thrills, laughs, and the most unconventional landmark directions ever. If you love adventure with a side of comedy, this is your spot.
