蒙哥马利海湾球场的点评
点评：“Monty” is one of the better established courses around Hoi An/Da Nang.
There was an expectation therefore that they’d have things sorted out.
They don’t!
When we visited, the greens were pretty messy with fungus.
(We’ve played outback courses with better maintained greens)
However, we understand that all courses struggle with the occasional greenkeeping blight.
What doesn’t work is the messy management, and its impact on guests.
Having been told at checkin that we could play as a group of 5 (only 4 hitting off), in ambrose format, the starter not only wouldn’t allow it, but also confiscated one set of clubs, and charged the 5th member as a spectator, IN ADDITION to charging that person green fees. No chance to argue for common sense.
These guys give the other local courses a bad name.
Just don’t play here - we will certainly never play here again.
Go to Legend next door, or up to the magnificent Ba Na Hills.
