点评：Montgomerie Links Golf Resort, Da Nang – An Outstanding Stay, 10/10
We spent two wonderful weeks staying at Montgomerie Links Golf Resort, just outside Da Nang, and I can honestly say it was one of the highlights of our holiday in Vietnam. We came for the golf, but left with a real appreciation for the people who make this place so special.
The accommodation was lovely. Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully maintained, with a wonderful view overlooking the golf course. There is something rather special about sitting on your balcony with a coffee, watching the golfers make their way around the course, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet. It became one of my favourite places to sit and read, particularly when my husband decided he hadn't hit quite enough golf balls for the day!
The grounds and gardens deserve a special mention. Everything is beautifully maintained, from the landscaping around the accommodation to the gardens and the golf course itself. You can see the amount of work that goes into keeping the entire property looking so good, particularly in a tropical climate where the weather can be challenging. The gardening and maintenance teams do an outstanding job, and their efforts certainly don't go unnoticed.
Now, the golf. What an experience!
We played several rounds during our stay, and the course is absolutely magnificent. Beautifully presented, challenging, interesting and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The greens were superb, and the course management was excellent, particularly considering the amount of rain we experienced during our visit.
I am still relatively new to golf, while my husband is the more experienced player, and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It is a course that challenges you but also makes you want to come back and try again. And we certainly did!
But what really sets Montgomerie Links apart is the quality of its caddies.
We were fortunate enough to have Vuong and Han looking after us during our rounds, and these two ladies were simply outstanding. Their knowledge of the course, ability to read the greens, club recommendations and general course management were exceptional. They knew when to offer advice, when to encourage and, importantly, how to make the entire experience enjoyable.
As a newer golfer, I particularly appreciated their patience and encouragement. There was never any sense of being rushed or made to feel that I didn't belong on the course. They were professional, thoughtful, good-humoured and genuinely lovely company.
By the end of our stay, it felt more like playing golf with friends. On our final round, they even surprised me with flowers and early wishes for Vietnamese Women's Day. Such a beautiful and unexpected gesture, and one I won't forget.
Having played other courses around Da Nang and Hoi An, I can confidently say that the caddie experience at Montgomerie Links was in a class of its own.
The food and hospitality were another highlight.
We enjoyed many meals at Birdies restaurant, from Vietnamese pho to burgers, steaks and the occasional sweet treat. The food was consistently good, the portions generous and the service friendly and attentive. It was a lovely place to sit after a round of golf, enjoy lunch and watch the activity around the clubhouse.
Breakfast was also something we looked forward to each morning, made particularly enjoyable by the lovely young lady who looked after us throughout our stay. She was an absolute delight. Always welcoming, attentive and genuinely interested in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It is these little personal touches, remembering guests and greeting them with a smile each morning, that make such a difference when you are staying somewhere for an extended period.
Another young staff member who deserves a special mention is the lovely young man who worked at the driving range and also helped out at Birdies. We saw quite a bit of him during our stay, given the amount of time we spent practising! He was always so friendly, cheerful and incredibly helpful. Whether he was assisting us at the range or helping in the restaurant, he approached everything with a smile and a willingness to help. A genuinely lovely young man and another example of the wonderful staff Montgomerie Links has. I do hope management recognises the contribution of these younger team members, because they certainly made a lasting impression on us.
The same can be said for the entire team, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant staff, golf operations, caddies and the people quietly working behind the scenes. Everyone was helpful, courteous and willing to assist. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.
We also made good use of the driving range, often spending a leisurely morning hitting balls, enjoying a coffee and chatting with other guests. We met some lovely people during our stay, and there was a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that made it feel like much more than simply a golf resort.
What impressed me most about Montgomerie Links was the consistency. It wasn't just one excellent round of golf, one good meal or one helpful staff member. It was the standard of hospitality and attention to detail maintained across our entire two-week stay.
We have stayed in some lovely hotels and played some wonderful golf courses, but Montgomerie Links managed to combine excellent accommodation, a beautifully maintained course, outstanding caddies and genuinely warm Vietnamese hospitality.
And that is what we will remember most. The people.
A very special thank you to Vuong and Han, our lovely breakfast hostess, the young man from the driving range and Birdies, and everyone who made our stay so enjoyable.
Would we return? Absolutely, without hesitation.

这里的庭院与花园也值得特别一提。从住宿区周围的景观布置，到花园及高尔夫球场本身，一切都打理得极为出色。可以看出，为了让整个庄园保持如此美观的状态，工作人员付出了多少努力——尤其是在天气变化多端的热带气候下。园艺与维护团队的工作表现极为出色，他们的付出也确实得到了认可。
再来说说高尔夫。真是一次绝妙的体验！
我们在逗留期间打了好几轮球，球场简直美不胜收。环境宜人、极具挑战性且趣味十足，维护水平也达到了极高的标准。球场的果岭状况极佳，球场管理也相当出色——尤其是考虑到我们造访期间下了大量雨水。
我打高尔夫的时间还不算长，而我的丈夫则是经验丰富的球手，我们俩都玩得非常尽兴。这是一座既能考验球技又让人心生再次挑战欲望的球场。而我们也确实这么做了！
不过，真正让蒙哥马利林克斯球场脱颖而出的是其球童的卓越素质。我们很幸运，在打球期间有Vuong和Han全程陪同。这两位女士表现得极为出色：她们对球场了如指掌，能精准判断果岭状况，提供的球杆建议以及对整个场面的掌控能力也堪称卓越。她们知道何时该给予建议、何时该给予鼓励；更重要的是，她们懂得如何让整个打球过程充满乐趣。
作为一名新手高尔夫球手，我尤其感激她们的耐心与鼓励。我从未有过任何仓促的感觉，也从未觉得自己不适合参加这个课程。他们专业、体贴、风趣，是真正令人愉快的伙伴。
课程结束时，感觉就像是和朋友们一起打高尔夫。在最后一轮比赛中，他们还送给我鲜花，并提前祝我越南妇女节快乐。这真是一个美好又出乎意料的举动，我永远都不会忘记。
