点评：We LOVED our time in Pisa! Here are some tips to help you make the most of this special place. 1) Get your tickets before you visit directly from their site- not from a vendor. 2) You don’t need a tour guide. You can do this on your own! 3) Be early, the tickets are timed. On time is late! We saw people lose their turn over and over. 4) Bring the bare minimum. Lockers are included in the price of your ticket but it takes time to find the location, put your items inside and return to the line. They begin lining up each group about 20-30 minutes prior to the entry time and they are strict. 5) Plan more time than you think you will need. The area is very crowded. 6) Wear shoes that will give you safe footing. You don’t want to trip on the stairs. 7) There are multiple levels to climb. 8) Consider time of day for the best lighting for photos and for when fewer tour groups are in the city. 9) Know that you will lean, just like the tower, as you climb. We found it to be quite amusing! 10) Be aware of your surroundings for two reasons. First of all, to avoid pick pockets. Secondly watching all of the people trying to pose with the tower is hilarious! 11) Once you arrive at the very top you can sit on the stairs and take it all in. There was a gentle breeze when we visited and the views were breathtaking. 12) Plan time to explore the cathedral, (wear appropriate clothing) the Baptistery and the Camposanto. 13) The gift shop that is a part of the museum has the best postcards. 14) Keep your ticket handy! It provides free entry to the very nice restrooms.
