点评:We took the early morning train from Florence. What a beautiful clear day! Perfect for photos. Without any research, we assumed Pisa’s focal point was only the leaning bell tower. There were seven monuments to take in. A good full day is needed.
I was surprised the six monument ticket was 11€ per person. With inclusion of the Bell Tower, it was 27€. The official site is opapisa.it
Only the bell tower has a reserved timed entry for those who choose to climb. Two of us chose to take on the climb. The marble staircase was very smooth and slippery. High heels are not recommended. Very quickly you’ll feel discombobulated and everyone seemed to use the walls to brace themselves. There’s confusion and disorientation all the way to the top! No worries, there is staff on every floor if anyone needs assistance.
CAMPOSANTO
The monumental building was very grand and built in 1277. On entering we discovered this to be a grave yard essentially. Its purpose was to honour and give devotion to the dead; particularly those of high esteem. The elite of Pisa. Of all the buildings, this one gave me discomfort. Memorial stones and grave vaults were built into the floor. Stepping on these, felt disrespectful personally.

官方网站是opapisa.it。
