点评：The day started perfectly meeting Neil Mountain Guide Chamonix Mackay
+44 7977 632137 at the base of the SkyWay in Courmayeur.
A transceiver check and probe and shovel at ground level incase we needed spare batteries.
A good 90 min walk uphill to about 3750meters then following our guilde Niel who warned us of dangers eg crevases, rock falls and avalanche areas.
Neil did a very good job of looking after us all, with different levels of ski ability and even found a great place for a picnic. During which Neil Mackay informed us about several points of interest.
Beware when when skiing the la Vallée Blanche, finishing at the Mer de Glace the walk up hill a €44 or €34 (over 65 years old) train ticket down the hill.
1 Climbing over the gate especially in ski boots and with skis is a health and safety hazzard.
2 Buy the ticket for the train down. Only one payment station. It took so long we missed a train.
3 Ideally allow the Courmayeur pass to be valid for 1 trip down.
4 Have on both french and italian website the prices of the down trips. I would not have gone if I knew it was €44 Be honest about costs.
