Friendly for first timers and personal attention - don’t miss them

点评：This was our first time in Costa Rica and we love Sarapiquí. It’s a small town feel with friendly locals - tourists are very welcome. We booked the Eco Rafting Class II-III for our family (us two plus our 15-year-old and 10-year-old). Once we arrived we parked in the small lot and left everything in our car but what we needed on the river (you don’t need anything but your swimsuit and shirt and water shoes). Everybody was very friendly. It rained like a monsoon an hour before the tour so we figured we’d be even wetter than usual - but the sun came out as we prepped for departure. (WEAR SUNSCREEN. Don’t skimp. No shade on the water.)
At departure time we piled into two big vans and headed upriver. We arrived at a put-in spot with two or three other companies at the same time and got our helmet, paddle, vest, and a lesson on how to paddle as a team. Then we got on the river!
Our guide Ronaldo was a pleasure - funny, friendly, a strong leader on the water to have us run the rapids properly, good with our two kids (he eventually had my daughter get right in the front of the boat and ride all the rapids that way!).
We enjoyed an exciting couple of hours on the water, punctuated by a break featuring a cliff jump and some tasty watermelon and pineapple. Afterward we were able to shower and change, and then had a simple and tasty casado lunch. Lastly we were able to purchase photos of our family for a very reasonable price.
Highly recommended. You won’t regret choosing Aguas Bravas if you’re in town.

我们在水上度过了激动人心的几个小时，中间休息了一会儿，跳了个悬崖，还吃了美味的西瓜和菠萝。之后我们洗了个澡换了衣服，然后享用了一顿简单美味的卡萨多午餐。最后，我们还以非常合理的价格买到了全家福。
