Briksdal Glacier (Briksdalbreen)的点评
点评：Outstanding views and a great walk to get there.
We cruised on P&O Iona and stopped off in Olden. We got off and booked seats on the Olden Adventure bus ride up to the Briskdal Glacier then hiked up the easy to follow, gravel path right to the lake at the base of the Glacier.
The walk took a bit of effort with some steeper sections but it is all on gravel paths and we had our 11 and 8 year old with us who managed it fine. I think we did it in about 35 minutes in the way up and then used the way down for photos.
The area is outstandingly breathtaking and I would highly recommend putting in the effort to see such a wonderful part of creation.
Have to give a mention to Stein, our bus driver who made the journey there and back, smooth and interesting. A few interesting local facts were thrown in and a good bit of humour to make us and the kids laugh.
