Medora Musical的点评
点评：As someone who has gone to the musical for many, many years, sometimes 3-4 times a year, I was a tad disappointed. It was good and the choreography was very good. The singers and dancers were about the same. It lacked the small town country vibe that it has always had. Maybe a bit to "broadway". I am not sure how to say it. It has always been patriotic and very country. The music just didn't have that feeling to it. The beautiful song "Medora" wasn't sung. "Dakota", another beautiful song wasn't heard. With all the great country music out there I would think they could do better. I was saddened to see that so many of the musicians from the previous band were no longer there. And we always loved seeing the college aged kids performing. What happened? Why are these all semi professionals? I want to see the show in 2025 to see if they can bring back what we all have loved for so many years. And less of the Sheriff Bear and Prairie Rose. Love having the children on stage, always fun but we do not need so much chatter. We come to hear music, singing and see the dancing. I understand that we need to appeal to the younger generation but we need to teach them what Medora is truly about. Hope it gets better for many who didn't really care for it this year. I know that the reviews show many loved it. They are probably tourists who haven't seen it for thirty years. We need to remember the history of the town and Teddy!
