点评:From before the sun rises until late in the evening, this is a great spot for exercising, people-watching, letting the kids play, eating from street vendors, etc. The park is in the form of a long, narrow rectangle that runs two or three blocks long. In the early morning we found dozens of walkers and joggers doing laps around the perimeter. There are play sets on each end for kids to climb and explore. Young people skated and rode bikes near the center. In the early evening the park comes alive again with walkers, inflatables for kids to bounce on and electric cars for them to drive (each 20 pesos for 15 minutes), and food vendors. There's plenty of shade and benches. One word of caution: The streets on the edges of the park are very busy with fast-moving vehicles at all hours of the day and night, so be careful when crossing. However, that's no reason to skip this special public space that's just a 15-minute walk from the zócalo and 5-minute walk from the Jalatlaco district.
