点评:I'm going to be very honest in my review of my trip to the summit on the Snowdon Mountain Railway. First of all I must say I was shocked at the cost of near £50 per adult, like the path up the mountain that seems a bit steep to me but as it's the only show in town if you want to get a train up to the summit it's got to be paid. The journey itself was not good at all, passengers are crammed onto the carriage, 8 into each compartment on two 4 seater benches. It was just an awful environment to sit in for the hours journey up and the hours journey back down. You can't move from your seat, views out the carriage windows are limited particularly if you are one of the two middle passengers on each bench seat, it's stuffy, a bit smelly and you spend most of your time awkwardly avoiding staring directly your fellow passengers sitting across from you. As other posters have noted commentary from the guide on the train is very little and what there is is poor, surely the mountain has a rich history some of which can be imparted on the journey. I was well disappointed with the SMR experience and cannot recommend this experience at all. Two hours in a carriage packed in like sardines with limited views felt like a lifetime. Sorry avoid.
