Cafe shuts early, as do toilets

点评：This score is purely regarding the cafe and toilet facilities. The cycle tracks are fantastic for a family. Our family of 5 with children ages 5-10yrs explored tracks in the pouring rain and came back to the cafe at 440pm (closes 5pm). We tried to do two orders as I loaded bikes on car and asked for a hot drink after my wife at 442pm. “No more hot drinks” as they were shutting everything down despite almost 20mins left of opening. The latte ordered at 440pm took 10mins to make and 3 other people who ordered in the couple of mins after my wife, all got served. After 10mins we asked politely if there was still a latte on the way and were given a dismissive “yeah”. I thought the toilets (separate building outside) would be open until 9pm, as the site is. However when we tried to use them at 4.54pm we found they were already locked. Walked towards cafe and the shutter was being pulled down 5mins early. So we can’t wash muddy hands, change into our spare dry shorts or use the loo before the 2 hour drive home. It could all have been different if the cafe staff had kept the cafe open until the published time and been more helpful in their manner.
