点评：We were incredibly disappointed by our tour of Soho House.
The young guide who took us around was clearly very knowledgeable about the Lunar Society, but didn't seem able to grasp that we were interested tourists, not an academic group who had an extensive grounding in philosophy, economics and the foundations of manufacturing involved in the activities of the society and the time period.
There was no introduction at all, straight into a detailed explanation of the moral attitudes of certain society members, how this changed over time and why, plus how this interacted with issues such as slave owning. He threw multiple names at us, assuming we knew the detailed history of such people.
We were the only 2 visitors at the time (Saturday afternoon), which is sad, and doesn't bode well to the future of such a museum.
Like all museums Soho House is (one assumes) tight on funding. It is therefore shocking that the temperature inside was sub tropical. Leaving aside the costs of such a level of heating, there are issues both around global warming and of the impact on valuable exhibits.
