The Iron Bridge and Tollhouse的点评
点评：The gorge is a beautiful area. Please avoid any temptation to just drive past or race in, get out of the car, take that one photo in front of the bridge and leave.
[note that the car parks in the gorge are not park of the Plus ticket, and you have to pay, though not expensive]
The museums have a number of paths to choose from - some of them quite long. If you wander along the gorge, the buildings are lovely and often built in an interesting way to fit into the gorge (I saw one house where the front door looked like it was on the 3rd floor, due to the sloping road in front of it).
There are some historical information boards (but not many) along the paths.
If you are looking for excitement and action, this is probably not the place for you. If you are looking for something as massive and awesome as the Golden Gate Bridge, you may be disappointed. But if you can appreciate the achievement within the historical context, or just want to see a pretty/well-engineered bridge in a beautiful landscape, this is perfect.
