Be Aware - Currently Portaloos Only with No Real Sanitation

点评：We've wanted to visit this property for so long & it is worth visiting. In addition the house guides were very well informed.
HOWEVER, we arrived to find that, due to unavoidable building works to repair a fallen wall, the toilet facilities were closed & replaced by 3 portaloos & a baby changing porta unit. None of these had water whatsoever due to their location. The toilet bowls emptied via a flap. The handwashing facilities were non-existent, replaced by a hand sanitiser in each cubicle. Despite our best efforts using copious hand sanitiser I developed gastro-enteritis within 48 hours, something I haven't suffered for years. Whilst I can't prove anything I think the current sanitation is sub-standard. For anyone with a weak immune system the facilities could be more serious.
I suggest you ring before visiting to check the current situation re the toilets as there's nothing on their website.
