点评:I’ve read the responses to reviews below, so am expecting something fairly defensive however I want to share my honest opinion after a few hours spent here.
It’s not cheap to get in but fairly aligned with similar places so we didn’t mind. The kids loved the animals and a few of the staff / volunteers were great at letting them get up close / pet them etc.
But when it comes to the cafe on-site - I would completely avoid it and if the weather allows - sit in the picnic areas with your own food. Half of what was advertised on the door wasn’t available and was available was all incredibly expensive - considering it was mainly fried food served in cardboard boxes. Minimal healthy options available - just jacket potatoes but these were small with hardly any topping. We spent over £50 on food and soft drinks (cans) for a family of four and none of us enjoyed our meals at all, unfortunately… and we left smelling like a chip fryer so just be mindful of that!
We’d visit again but wouldn’t use the cafe.
