Authentic Hill Tribe visit - no tourist traps just a simple real life visit to a Karen Hill Tribe - superb!!

点评：Perfect 1 Day private tour to Karen Hill Tribe
We really loved the village tour and understanding about their way of life. Seeing real Paddy fields, foraging for our lunch, all the locals were really engaging and friendly, my daughter made a bestie with one of them. The village elder praying with us on arrival and departure blessings was really special
Despite the weather it was really good.
Cooking with them was good fun and they asked us to help them which made us feel part of the group rather than just observers. We were really surprised to like the fern egg and garlic dish and even my picky daughter tried everything.
The process of weaving and the stages was very good (even though we were rubbish) was good and loved the napkin making!!!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and clearly cares immensely about the villages, it was really interesting hearing about his work with the villages and teaching them over time to embrace tourists but not at the detriment of their way of life.
It was clearly an authentic experience which is what we wanted rather than a tourist experience that can be a bit false. We liked that we were in the communal area so didn’t feel as if we were intruding too much which is always a concern.
The weather can’t be helped so the waterfall experience couldn’t happen which is a shame as it would have been a fitting ending. No fault of the guide or anything but we probably would have been better just finishing after the day with the tribe.
All in all a fabulous day that we will remember -

天气实在没办法，瀑布体验没能成行，这很遗憾，因为本来应该是一个合适的结局。这并非导游的错，但我们或许应该在与部落成员共度一天后就结束行程。
总而言之，这是美好的一天，我们会永远铭记——
