History + Tampa = Perfect day downtown
Tampa Bay History Center的点评
点评：A tour of the Tampa Bay history center is a must see for anyone that loves history or would just like to know a little bit more about the Tampa Bay Area. The center has a wonderful go at your own pace feel, but also offers tours and other fun events. You cannot beat the fact that it is connected to the Columbia Café, which coupled with this experience makes for the perfect afternoon.
We took our time through all three floors. I toured with my 66 year-old father who does have mobility issues. There was plenty of seating and places to pause and take in all of the exhibits without feeling like you were missing out. His favorite part was the giant oversized elevator - It is quite a sight!
I’ve been to the history center quite a few times, but this trip was super fun to see holiday traditions in Florida. We have always been such an enterprising and creative community. And for anyone that loves maps as much as I do, the cartography exhibit is a must see.
Take your kids take your out of town guests. This is a wonderful, leisurely experience. It’s a great place to take someone that would like to get more familiar with Tampa, be right in the center of all of the action and enjoy the great hospitality of local staff.
