Great exhibits that lack historical chronology

点评：This museum has great exhibits with great photos and videos and is very fun. It has interactive elements that are fun for families and children. I would love to give this a 4 or 5 star EXCEPT that the exhibits are laid out in no particular order or chronology. They seem to be grouped by topic and there is a bit of chronology within each topic. But still, I wanted to get a good understanding of how Tampa developed historically and politically and I had a hard time getting that from this museum. It starts out with a big room about the native Americans and then some info about the first European explorers which made sense to me, but then just devolves into a hodgepodge of rooms on topics like ybor city, citrus trade, port operations, and cowboys. Still worth a visit if you are into history and learning, but just be prepared for this.
