点评：My husband and I had a fantastic day at the Big Pit National Coal Museum. The experience was not only educational but genuinely fun. Our tour guide was absolutely hilarious, yet incredibly knowledgeable—he struck the perfect balance between humour and insight, making the whole visit unforgettable.
It was so powerful to step back in time and gain a real understanding of what miners endured daily to help power the UK. You walk away with a deep respect for their hard work and sacrifice.
What stood out even more was the passion of everyone working there—from the staff to the volunteers—who keep this important part of our history alive. I cannot recommend it enough for families, couples, teenagers—everyone. It’s an essential and moving piece of UK heritage that deserves to be experienced and remembered.
