Great experience but a but shame about the fumes.

点评：We had a brilliant afternoon with our driver Mohamed Natheer who was very prompt collecting us from our hotel and whisking us into the desert. We took the dune buggy option which we all enjoyed, then went dune bashing with Mohamed, which was also good. Some great photos were taken too.
Once at Sonora Camp we were very impressed with the setup and things to do - all included - camel ride, sand boarding, archery etc. and very comfortable seating to watch the sun go down. We were led to the eating area, which is beautiful.
The food was very good, although a slightly unusual combination. The service was excellent and the entertainment entertaining. My only criticism which loses a point is that there is a lot of use of paraffin, both for lamps to guide you to the dinner area, and for the entertainment, in particular the fire section. The fumes from this hang in the air and dominate the taste of the food. As such I couldn’t enjoy the desert having to cover my mouth. The organisers should consider this.
