My wife and I visited Wings Wildlife Park today. We last visited about 10 years ago, so we saw the vast improvements that had been made.
Easy parking and we had a great reception from the two international people on the desk. A young lady from France and a young gentleman from the Netherlands, both made us feel welcome and valued customers.
The park is easily accessible on foot and all the animals, birds and reptiles are well displayed. Encloses were large and the occupants seemed happy in their environment. Many of the animals are rescued or injured awaiting release.
Staff were very knowable and friendly. We took part in the Reptile and Tasmanian Devil introduction with Matt & Molly. Both were very articulate and knowledgeable on the Devils and Reptiles.
Molly did a solo chat on the Koala; it was great to see her passion for the Koala and she told us lots of facts about it. Molly is a credit to Wings Wildlife Park; it is her dream job and she is a great ambassador for the company.
Food at the café was basic and not very inspiring.
We will return soon to catch up with the wildlife and staff.
