点评：Super fun, educational, and well-rounded rafting experience with a great outfitter. We delved into our visit to Dinosaur Nat’l Monument blown away by the landscape & natural history. I’m so glad we went with OARS to spend some time on the Green River. Our day trip from Rainbow Park to Split Mountain was a fantastic time. This company believes in the sanctity of the Monument and clearly respects conservation practices, which I found lovely. Stopping to have (slender, sandy blond dude… sorry, couldn’t remember your name, dude!) give a respectfully interpretive guided walk through a petroglyph area was unexpected but delightful. We booked the trip en route from Denver and didn’t read too much beyond what the river section would be. All of the Easter eggs (just book and find out :)) were fantastic. Definitely wear shoes/secure sandals you can hike a little bit in.
Chinley & Emma made learning rafting commands fun and were very competent raft leaders. Their shared knowledge of the river, the Monument & the geology made it not possible to stump there quick answers to all of the party’s questions. Great job, you two!
Oars will see me again on another river running expedition for sure. Thanks for a great experience!
