点评:Amazing views during the fall season, absolutely breathtaking. But overall very disappointed in the entire process of getting a ticket and they need a better system to purchasing a ticket. We showed up to a long, but not unreasonably long, line to buy our admission and get a hand stamp. We weren't in a rush so we were willing to wait a bit longer and OK with paying more since we did not buy online. Instesd we were met with a rushed greeting and frantically being told we need to buy our tickets online becsuse its cheaper. I explained I didn't care about paying money because I just wanted to lay and get on the gondola. The older woman working wouldn't allow us so we needed pay online, which was tedious, time consuming and frustrating. What further infuriated us was the fact that a few minutes later, while getting fed up with buying online, a group of 6 people were then served to buy tickets on the spot instead of being forced to buy online. All the while the older man working was using a pen and paper to kep track of tickets sold and trying to take payments. Buying admissions in person was chaotic.
Considering the price per person for a six minute gondola ride, the service should be quick, easy and friendly. Not rushed, forced and cranky. There should also be mote seats at the too for people to rest. 10 chairs is hardly anything. We loved the view but super disappointed in the service and the cost considering how terrible and service was.
The expensive cost of the ticket does NOT justify the terrible experience when trying to buy one, the short length of time that the ride is and the limited seating options at the top. The gondola has been open several years now, there is no need for a pen and paper and only 2 employees taking payment on a busy Saturday.
