However, as a former employee, my experience at CCI as a support worker was one of being constantly harassed and bullied by my line manager who treated me with such disrespect and made my work life awful that I had no choice but to leave.
This lady also did the same to other employees before me and another one after me.
They are very good at looking after their participants but unfortunately do not convey the same respect to any of the staff who have experienced this negative behaviour, causing mental health issues as a direct result of this line managers behaviour towards those ‘beneath’ her.
The management of CCI are fully aware of this behaviour and I tried to get help and support from them before leaving and I also tried to gain support from the CCI board, however, not one person is interested in helping those affected by this woman’s bizarre behaviour towards other staff.
I have tried to reach out to board members but it seems that they wish to turn a blind eye to this so I have no choice but to make the public aware of this ongoing situation before she does it to the next person in position.
It is an awful position to be put in and I would like the opportunity to speak to the board personally but this does not seem to be an option unfortunately.
