Camping in Michigan….nope never again!!!

点评：So to begin, the campsites are nice, very spacious . HOWEVER the are some down sides. The fire rings are very large corrugate steel inner and outer ring filled with concrete, so you really don’t feel the hat of the fire on cold nights. Firewood is a very generous amount of well dried wood, but it will not be delivered to your campsite…be ready to have your vehicle to transport or carry the bundles to you campsite.
Restrooms and showers are very clean and appear well kept. BUT there is nowhere available to wash camping cooking utensils or plates…unless you can carry water back to you campsite..heat the water and then clean the equipment. Also most campsites only have electric hook up…no water hookup.
At $49 per night, plus a reservation fee of $8. But wait…you also have to pay daily fee of $11 or a $41 fee for the year called a “PassPort”
