点评：It’s surprising that there are more reviews of this attraction which you can easily see brightly lit from the interstate. It involves the work of hundreds of volunteers and is free of charge (parking is $10). It’s a fascinating amount of lights made into tunnels, Christmas displays, wood burning fires, and a great view of the famous Duluth Lift. Bridge. They sell the supplies for S’mores and provide clean roasting sticks to roast them. There is free hot chocolate and cider. The experience is sponsored by the local businesses. If you live far away, it is worth traveling for as part of a combined trip to see the harbor, the Lift Bridge and the ships coming in. We thought it would be a quick run-through (we walked down from our hotel), but ended up spending a couple hours here. It was about twenty degrees when we visited, but you can warm up near the fire kettles placed around. The wood to keep all of the fires burning is cut by volunteers in the summer time. We thought it would be mostly families here, but there were actually an even distribution of couples and families. It is a safe place, about a seven block walk from the Canal Park hotels. A great photo opportunity for your Christmas cards.
