DANGEROUS PARKING – Our car was broken into at the official onsite lot.

点评：We recently visited the Serravalle Designer Outlet (located between Milan and Genoa), and while the shopping itself was fine, we left with a traumatizing experience that completely ruined our trip.
We parked our car in the official, onsite parking lot of the outlet—not some remote street or unofficial area. Despite this, thieves broke into our vehicle and stole our belongings. What is most alarming is that this happened in broad daylight, in a supposedly secure area managed by the outlet.
When we reported the incident to security and staff, we were met with complete indifference. There was no CCTV coverage in the parking areas (or at least none they were willing to check), no security patrols visible, and absolutely no assistance offered. It became clear that this is not an isolated incident—we later saw other shocked visitors dealing with the same situation.
Our warning to all travelers:
DO NOT leave any valuables in your car, and honestly, do not park here at all if you have the choice. The outlet provides zero protection for your vehicle or your possessions. We lost personal items, documents, and luggage, and the financial and emotional cost has been enormous. The management clearly prioritizes turnover over customer safety.
We are writing this review to warn others: Serravalle's parking is a goldmine for criminals, and the outlet does nothing to stop it. Save yourself the heartbreak—shop elsewhere or arrive by train, but under no circumstances leave your car here unattended. We wish we had read a review like this before we went.
