点评:What an awful experience, I did what was required and got completely let down by strike. Made a booking 2 weeks in advance (on Fathers' day) and paid in full $84, showed up 15 minutes early for our booking as was requested in your email to get the shoes, balls etc ready to go, went to our allocated and currently vacant lane and waited... and waited... and waited with our shoes on and our balls selected and with my young daughter watching many other lanes bowling and children of the same age having fun, she was jumping around extremely keen and excited to get her first bowling experience underway on this special father’s day activity. After a few minutes or so (after it was apparent there was something wrong) a gentleman came over to inform us that there was something wrong and they were trying to fix it... and so we continue to wait, after about the same length of time the gentleman returned and explained that there was no change in the issue and they are continuing to work on it but if they can’t fix it "we will just have to work something out". After this ominous statement from the mystery worker, I began contemplating how I would explain to my young daughter that even though we are ready to bowl and that others are bowling and having fun we will not be able to bowl today for reasons unknown (a quite repugnant contemplation on Father’s Day). After a longer period of time an lady appeared and confirmed the information the gentleman had relayed, more time passes and she returns and explains that they cannot fix the issue but the lane is operational and if we want to bowl we can but we will have to score manually, a short period of time passes and we are alerted that we can now bowl however the bumpers are not installed and we have no score cards, we point this out to them. More time passes and the bumpers then get installed, we are still without score cards but we decide to commence bowling anyway. the time we finally start our bowling session is 25 minutes after the session is scheduled to commence and a full 40 minutes after we had arrived, I think you would agree that this is a significant period of time to be waiting for something you pre-book. The scorecards eventually appear (third frame I think) but in the meantime it has become evident to us that it is particularly difficult to score accurately manually and the ambient lighting makes the task even more difficult, so we abandon the scoring part of it. The deliverer of the score cards made some musings about vouchers for the inconvenience but never returned with the vouchers or to check on us at all. My daughter did appear to enjoy the bowling but without the scoring part... or the computer part it became an enjoyment that tapered off, after about one game we all felt a bit over the whole experience and additionally it also became apparent that the people standing and leering at us we people that had obviously booked at 11:30 (which was in only a few minutes time) and so if we had continued with our 2nd game (that I had paid for) it would have made them and possibly all the groups following us much delayed. We elect to pack up and leave and try to put this terrible experience behind us and enjoy the rest of the day. We all remove our shoes and return to the check-in counter where the gentleman and the lady we had previously interacted with were standing along with one other, the other directed us where to drop off our shoes, and we did which was right alongside the gentleman and the lady and without so much as an acknowledgement from either that we had concluded this sub-par experience we turned an left strike bowling feeling worse off for the experience. It seems to me you only really have one thing you need to do well if you identify as a bowling ally, it is a shame that I wasted my time, my money, and my Fathers' day on strike Carousel as their focus must be elsewhere.
