Nice Renaissance Castle

点评：This attractive Renaissance castle is surrounded by a moat and a large park-like garden with avenues for strolling and sitting and admiring the view. There is also a formal Rose Garden. Entry was free with the Copenhagen Card which was part of the reason why we did it. As castles in Copenhagen go this was not on the top of our list.
Staff are very particular about bags meaning only very small handbags are permitted. Entry is by timed ticket depending on the crowds and is self-guided. There are two parts to the tour. The first entry covers the salons and formal rooms of the castle. The second entry covers the armoury and treasury. The armoury contained some interesting pieces. The treasury was not over done and set in a nice underground setting. Allow one to two hours depending on your level of interest.
