点评：All I wanted was to go for a nice dive. Instead I got sexually assaulted.
I used to love prodive but I recently went on a dive and had a horrifying experience. The guide I had was too touchy. It started off as just casual touching on the arm and then the small of my back… non-consensually. This continued throughout the entire day and progressively became more frequent. At one point he ‘accidentally’ touched my butt. After the dive, during what I thought was going to be a debrief, he told an anecdote and used me as prop which involved grabbing my head with both hands, pulling me in towards his face and pretending to kiss me, again non-consensually. When I left he then proceeded to hug me which I really didn’t want to do but I am a shy person and really am not the best at confrontations. Oh might I add he is probably 30+ years older than me.
Honestly, I should not have been put in this position in the first place as this is not appropriate behaviour in any circumstance. I can imagine many other people would also react the same way and feel way too awkward to say anything in the moment. I hope prodive cares enough and gets rid of this man because I really pray this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I won’t be diving with prodive again and I will not be recommending this shop until that disgusting man is gone.
