点评：I just got back from an incredible 8-day trip to Panama, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! The tour was run by Isthmian Adventures, and they absolutely nailed it. From the moment we arrived, our guide, Cristian, made the trip unforgettable. He shared the history of Panama with such passion, taking us from the days of the conquistadors all the way to the present, and his personal stories added so much depth to the experience.
One of the things I really appreciated was the environmental touch. We were each given reusable water bottles, and there were always cold jugs of water available for refills. It was such a thoughtful detail, and it really showed Cristian’s commitment to sustainability and his love for his country and nature.
The itinerary was packed with highlights. We visited the Panama Canal and got to explore both the old and new locks. The boat trip on Gatun Lake was amazing—we saw monkeys and all kinds of wildlife, which was so cool. But for me, the most memorable day was the river journey to the Embera village. The people there were so warm, welcoming, and full of pride—it was hard to leave!
And just when I thought the tour couldn’t get any better, Cristian surprised us with a ride on one of the iconic Red Devil buses to our farewell dinner. It was such a fun and unexpected touch that ended the trip on a high note.
I’ve always thought of Panama as the country with the Canal, but this trip completely changed my view. Thanks to Isthmian Adventures, I saw that Panama is so much more than that—it’s a country full of culture, natural beauty, and incredible people. I loved every minute of this trip, and I can’t wait to return!
