点评：My partner, our cockapoo, and I visited Aira Force Waterfall on a busy day. The National Trust car park is small and was packed; we circled 5–6 times before finding a space. Parking fees are steep, and nearby roadside spots were also full.
The trail itself is scenic, winding through woodland with occasional open views over the landscape. However, those with limited mobility should avoid it – sections are very steep, and the path can become slippery and muddy after rain.
The highlight is the waterfall, which you can admire from above on a bridge spanning the top and from below at the foot of the falls. Crossing the upper bridge gives a dramatic overhead perspective, while the lower viewpoint lets you feel the sheer power of the cascading water up close – a truly impressive sight. We were fortunate to spot a rainbow in the spray, adding magic to the moment.
Dog owners: keep pets on a lead due to hidden drops along the path. Toilets are available in the car park, which is handy.
Overall, Aira Force is well worth seeing, but plan for parking challenges and prepare for a demanding walk.
