Sunset Glow Guide Service的点评
点评：Capain Dave introduced himself at the Minneapolis Boat Show on 1/28/26.
His system of reservations for trips online booking is smooth, communication is clear and informative.
A bonus is the Minnesota Nice/family friendly attitude!!!
He met us at the dock of a VRBO we rented on Marco Island, FL promptly at 8 am to fish the intercostal waterways targeting mangroves primarily for snook, but we also caught drum, jack crevalle, mangrove snapper, ladyfish and even a stingray! Dave furnished all the rods, tackle & shrimp, a Florida Saltwater licence was included in the charter fee.
On the water Dave "patiently" taught us techniques for casting and landing fish for a successful day of catch & release.
We learned a lot about tides, currents & eddies and how they affect our success rate.
On Wednesday 3/18 the water temp (>70) was warmer than the air ( 50's in the morning, low 60's afternoon ) overcast with rain on and off, we suggest 2-3 layers of clothing under raingear.
Despite the weather, the trip was a highlight of my vacation week on Marco Island and my family loved it.
We had 5 in our group, a bit cozy on Dave's 22' Skeeter, but we spread out for casting and made it work.
Looking forward to hiring Sunset Glow again on Lake Vermillion.
