Snorkeling in Noumea.

点评：Don't pay for expensive island trips from Noumea. Go to Signal island!. As we got off the shuttle bus, from the cruise ship, at the Tourist center there were stalls outside advertising to go to Signal Island. It cost $60 a head. Not the $90- 110 for a prebooked tour as seen on trip advisor. Just the trip out and back with snorkels if you need it. For 3 hours which was more than enough. After 2 hours of snorkeling my hands get too waterlogged and numb. Bring your own water and food. There is none there but what a beauty of an island! The snorkeling was fantastic. The advanced area was easy peasy and you could go as deep as you want. After hugging the reef for a while your confidence and curiosity increases, and you can venture further out. I saw a reef shark at a distance but they are really timid and avoid you. Lots of fish and coral. The snorkeling is fantastic and you feel safe. Its the cheapest and best snorkeling in Noumea. As good as Amadee and Duck islands.
