Warm hospitality but they never paid back a promised refund

点评：Had a 5-day tour with Michael. He took great care of us, made us feel welcome and secure, and ensured we maximized our time and experiences. Despite the tour's high cost, we felt like we got bang for our buck, although some stuff that was said to be included, such as train tickets and temple entrance fees, were unexpectedly not paid for us. Nonetheless, we enjoyed ourselves and let that slide.
However, in Ella we were informed that Saj was facing banking issues, and we were required to cover our hotel expenses and transportation to Mirissa (80€). Saj assured us he would resolve the matter with the bank and pay us back later on. Unfortunately, we’re still waiting for that almost two months later. I am very disappointed by the broken promises and trust. Somehow Saj had no trouble receiving payment from my friend for the tour just days prior.
Overall, our trip was quite enjoyable, but the unfulfilled promises leave a sour note. I'm left questioning whether the banking incident was a one-off thing or a recurring thing to get more profit.
