点评:This was a pleasant walk starting outside Windsor Castle gates to the copper statue of King George III in Windsor Great Park. We detoured a little off the path to see the statue of Elizabeth II on a horse as a young woman. An enjoyable walk that took my brother and I just under 4 hours to complete round trip. We started at 6am and finished by 10am. We might have gotten a little lost in the process. We saw plenty of deer—we took this walk in April just before mating season and there were plenty of male deer with the antlers that we were careful to keep our distance from. We saw horses and cows. It was really beautiful and I would recommend this activity if you are staying in Windsor. It was one of the best things we did on our trip to the UK. A local told us it was good luck if you touched the copper horse. Wear good shoes, my brother didn’t and had blisters on his feet by the end of the walk. Also, don’t wear your best sneakers, it gets very muddy especially in April.
