Treat yourself to an unforgettable journey!
Pantiacolla Tours的点评
点评：I am a naturalist and educator and I joined the Manu Reserve 7-day tour October/November 1922. I have not participated in many organized tours, usually preferring to travel independently, but this Pantiacolla tour allowed access to areas that would be difficult or impossible to visit on one’s own.
To list a few of the special moments/images from the trip:
• Groups of giant river otters cavorting, fishing, and socializing in full view of our silent, hand-paddled boat
• eight different species of monkeys: groups traveling through the canopy, lounging in the treetops, or watching us as curiously as we watched them
• hundreds of green and red macaws taking flight from the banks of the clay lick as an avian predator flew overhead
• A huge anaconda coiled up and sleeping in the sun on a stack of driftwood
• Groups of capybaras on the riverbank pausing to watch our boat go by
• Climbing up the tallest Ceiba I have ever seen and then spending a quiet and relaxed time on a platform with a 360 degree view of life in the canopy
• And birds, birds, birds-from spectacular hummers to vivid tanagers and bizarre hoatzins, to huge king vultures and Jabiru storks
Our group of 9 compatible travelers bonded quickly, were enthusiastic and congenial, and as one of the Britts observed: “Not one whinger in this bunch!”
Our tour guide, Jose Felix de la Cuba has spent many years doing research and guiding in Manu and these experiences have given him a deep understanding and a desire to share with visitors eager to explore and appreciate this unique and special place.
Orlando, our creative and amiable chef produced amazingly tasty, healthy and hearty meals and also served as a good spotter on night hikes
Marienne van Vlaardigan is a well-organized, responsive communicator, and answered all questions in a thorough and timely manner.
I highly recommend that you treat yourself to an unforgettable journey of your own!
