点评:Unreasonable ask .... I was diagnosed with severe arthritis in my ankle, born with a unique ball and socket joint. My mobility has become more and more limited, needing supporting aids. I am awaiting surgery.
In January 2025, following 7 months of not being able to use the facilities, I was able to put my membership on hold.
I was contacted last month advising this 'hold' was no longer available and my membership would restart.
I have contacted the club, and advised I am still on the orthopaedic waiting list for surgery, but being met with unrealistic requests for a letter from the nhs stating I am still on the list. Obviously, as an nhs patient this isn't provided by the nhs - but it is still being pushed/ or a 3 month cancellation fee would be in place.
How can this be fair and reasonable, my GP is stated it need to come from something from hospital, consultant's secretary phone extension just rings!!!
Am I being unreasonable- or actually are DL exploiting my exit?? The fact I paid full costs from May 24-jan25 without entering the club is clearly not a factor.
