点评:For modern art lovers, this small, well labelled museum is a must see. The comparisons to Modigliani, Brancusi and others with these 4000 year old figures are stunningly obvious, making your visit both informative and delightful. Note that the main entrance is on a side street, not the obvious entry on the avenue.
Having not seen any TA reviews of the café, I would add my take.
With fresh ingredients, cheerful service and an interesting menu selection, the Café is a great choice for a visit to the museum. (The immediate neighborhood is virtually taverna-free.)
After a prosecco toast, I enjoyed the salmon tartar; my wife had spaghetti. We split a lemon tart from the selection of fresh pastries. With another glass of wine and espresso, the tab came to $77.
One note for expectations: this is a great example of where marketing photography is a triumph. With about a dozen tables, the café actually looks past the ticket counter and gift shop to the street. The “garden” is a large room-wide planter with a mirrored backdrop. It is, nevertheless, a contemporary setting and surprisingly quiet. That said, we very much enjoyed our lunch.
